Karnataka: Two drug peddlers including African held with Ecstasy pills
Bengaluru, Jan 28: The Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru arrested two drug peddlers in the city including an African and seized ecstasy pills weighing 500 grams, worth Rs 25 lakh, police said on Thursday.
According to police, Diomande (34), a native of Ivory Coast in Africa and Nissan Gaffor (35), a native of Kannur in Kerala, were arrested from Yelahanka yesterday and the pills seized.
Besides the ecstasy pills, three mobile phones, one weighing machine and a motorcycle were seized from them, police said.

TVK chief Vijay files nomination from Perambur in Chennai
Chennai (PTI): TVK chief, actor-politician Vijay on Monday filed his nomination to contest Assembly polls from Perambur constituency in Chennai.
This is the debut polls for Vijay and he has chosen to fight from Perambur in north Chennai, which has a sizable population of the working classes.
