Bengaluru(PTI): The Karnataka government has withdrawn its order banning photography and videography inside the government offices.
The order banning shooting photos and videos was issued on Friday morning and was withdrawn around midnight following criticism.
"Why should the government be afraid of photography and videography if it is on the right track?" Janata Dal (Secular) MLA Bandeppa Kashempur posed.

Shivamogga: Renowned photojournalist Shivamogga Nandan (57), associated with The Indian Express, passed away early Sunday morning following a cardiac arrest.
Nandan, who began his career with The Indian Express in 1999, gained widespread recognition as "Shivamogga Nandan" for his remarkable contributions to photojournalism. Known for his innovative experiments in photography, many of his works received acclaim at both state and national levels.
His mortal remains have been placed for public viewing at his residence near the railway station's blood bank in Shivamogga.
He is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.
