Bengaluru: Renowned actor Kishore Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Neha, calling it an unforgivable crime and a defeat for society. However, he strongly criticized the politicization of Neha's murder, particularly attempts to paint it with communal colors for political gain.

In a social media post, Kishore questioned the appropriateness of turning a tragic murder into a Hindu-Muslim issue. He highlighted the alarming statistics of daily murders and crimes against women in the country, emphasizing that blaming entire communities for individual crimes is unjustifiable.

Kishore Kumar stressed that justice for the criminal should be the focus for both the opposition and everyone else, rather than using Neha's death to fuel communal tensions for political mileage. He called for stringent punishment for the arrested criminal and the witness to ensure that such crimes are deterred in the future.

While acknowledging that no punishment can bring Neha back, Kishore Kumar urged authorities to address the root causes of rising crimes against women and ensure that tragedies like Neha's are not repeated.
