Bengaluru: A delegation of KPCC leaders on Friday met Karnataka DGP Parvin Sood and handed over a formal complaint against Ananth Kumar Hegde, Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, Renukacharya, MP Shobha Karandlaje for allegedly giving out provocative statements against a particular minority community in the wake of spread of the COVID-19.

KPCC working president Saleem Ahmed, MLCs Narayanswamy, MC Venugopal and others were part of the delegation that met Sood at Karnataka Police Headquarters on Friday.

In the complaint KPCC has demanded that all these BJP leaders be booked under IPC section 153 (a) and be arrested at the earliest.

Bengaluru: The health condition of BJP MP V. Srinivas Prasad has taken a critical turn as he has slipped into a coma, according to reports. He is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to multiple organ failure.

Admitted to the hospital on August 22, Prasad's condition has been closely monitored by a team of expert doctors. He is receiving medical care in the ICU.
