Bengaluru: In a major relief, the Karnataka High Court on Friday granted conditional bail to BJP MLC CT Ravi who was taken into custody by the Belagavi Police on Thursday over making obscene remarks against Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar.
A single-judge bench of the High Court, while hearing Ravi’s petition seeking the cancellation of the case filed against him, issued an interim order for his conditional release. The court has also directed Ravi to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
