Bengaluru: The Janata Dal (Secular) Legislature Party (JDLP) on Thursday unanimously elected party's State president H.D. Kumaraswamy as the legislature party leader.

Informing this to media persons at a private hotel, party's senior MLA GT Devegowda said that I am grateful to the people of the state, my party workers, and BSP's activists. The result did not give us happiness. BJP did not win 104 seats through the charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party's efforts. BJP lacks eight MLAs for the government formation. Some MLAs of my party are being offered with Rs. 100 crore and a cabinet post, "he said.

'' I have received two offers. I have a pain that I am not becoming CM by the people's support. I am also facing the challenge of seeing that my father's secular image should not be hurt. "
