Shimoga: Karnataka Minister Eshwarappa on Monday lashed out at leaders from opposition parties in the state and added that the lockdown will be successful if the leaders of opposition parties can shut their mouth.

Speaking to reporters on Monday in Shimoga, Eshwarappa added “If Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar and HD Kumaraswamy can lock their mouths, the lockdown in the state will be successful. They can only criticize when there are people dying because of the virus” he said.

“They say the government should give Rs 10,000 to families before implementing lockdown. Do we print money? If they give good advice which is practical we will implement it” Eshwarappa added.
