Bengaluru: In a recent series of raids conducted by the Lokayukta Police officers across Bengaluru and Tumakuru districts, startling revelations have emerged regarding KT Srinivas Murthy, Superintendent of the Department of Land Survey, KR Puram, allegedly owning liquor shops in multiple locations.
The raids were initiated by the Lokayukta Bengaluru Urban Police unit following a First Information Report (FIR) filed against Srinivas Murthy, who faces allegations of accumulating wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. The thorough investigations extended to various properties associated with the superintendent.
Upon examination of the property records linked to Srinivas Murthy, the Lokayukta officers uncovered that he allegedly possesses liquor shops across five locations in the Tumakuru district. Furthermore, it has been alleged that he owns valuable assets, including properties under construction such as houses and multi-storey buildings, in Hennur and Kottanur within the Bengaluru district.
