Member of Raichur Municipal council, Maqbool Murdered
Raichur: The member of the municipal council, Maqbool, died this morning due to heavy bleeding after being attacked with weapons by a gang of miscreants.
The incident took place near Zakir Hussain Circle in the city. The victim, Maqbool, was near the Zakir Hussain circle last night when a gang of miscreants carrying sharp weapons carried a coordinated attack on him.
The severely injured Maqbool was rushed to the Rims Hospital for emergency treatment. Reportedly, the administered treatment proved to be unsuccessful and Maqbool succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.
The District Superintendent of Police visited the crime scene and carried an investigation. A case has been registered at the Sadar Bazar police station.
