Bengaluru: Mohammed Mudasir Ahmed, a student of Shaheen’s PU College Bengaluru secured 42 rank in the CET examination, results of which were announced on Saturday May, 25.

Mudasir scored 48, 54 and 58 out of 60 marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology respectively.

The management of Shaheen’s Falcon College congratulated Mudasir for his achievement and added that the college is also awaiting for good results in the NEET Results that are scheduled to be announced June 5.

Mudasir is also the topper of Karnataka Shaheen Group which runs several colleges in cities like Bidar, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Ambur and Sirsi. The group also announced that the admissions are open for one year NEET long term batch that will begin from June 15.

Ramanagara: A dispute between a father and his son over financial matters culminated in a fatal outcome as the father allegedly murdered his own son. The incident occurred in Lakkojanahalli village of Ramanagara taluk on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Bhaskar (31), fell victim to his father Krishnappa's violent actions. Krishnappa, the accused, has been arrested by the Ramanagara Rural Police Station.

After receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and transferred Bhaskar's body to the district hospital for postmortem examination. A case has been filed against Krishnappa, who remains in custody, undergoing interrogation as the investigation progresses.
