Hubballi, August 23: “My son is an innocent. He has done anything wrong. But he was arrested in the Gauri Lankesh murder case without any valid evidences and torturing him”, said Jayashri, mother of Amith Baddi, one of the accused in the case.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, she said that there was no relationship between Gauri Lankesh murder and her son. In spite of it, SIT police have arrested him and torturing him. This has hurt her family. Because of the arrest of her son, her family could not able to live freely in the society. So, the SIT should immediately release her son who has not done anything wrong. She has written a letter to Gauri Lankesh sister Kavitha and her brother Indrajith Lankesh about this incident, she said.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the syllabus for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted in 2025 for admission to professional courses including engineering, on its website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.
Executive Director of KEA, H. Prasanna on Saturday issued a notification, advising students to use the syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from both First and Second PUC as outlined on the portal.
"This syllabus has been prepared based on the NCRTC syllabus and the textbooks published by the School Education, PUE Department," the announcement read. Furthermore, H. Prasanna explained that it has also been reviewed by subject experts from PU colleges.
