Mysuru, Jan 28: A tiger lifted a man and killed him near DB Kuppe in the Balle Range in Nagarahole National Park on Monday morning.

The victim has been identified as Chinnappa (40) of Gundujametlu in HD Kote taluk. The tiger attacked him when he came out of his house. Though the villagers chased the tiger, they could not save him. Fearing the sound, the tiger left the body and left. Now, fearing the tiger attack, the villagers cursed the forest department. The family members of the victim were inconsolable.
