Bengaluru, December 22: The dissatisfaction among those who were declined ministerial berths during Cabinet expansion is brewing up at a time when the coalition government is preparing to expand its Cabinet. Daughter of former minister Ramalinga Reddy, and MLA Soumya Reddy is also joined the wagon.
As her father was denied minister post, she has declined to accept the post of parliamentary secretary.
In her Twitter account, she wrote that "My father has served the party as DCC president for two terms, MLA for seven times and as minister. The party which had only one MLA, has now 15 MLAs for which my father has contributed a lot. I would like to see him as minister. Currently those who have worked for the party have been facing little setback and it's part of politics. Even then, the party should not hesitate to give proper positions to the loyal party workers" she expressed her unhappiness.
"I am elected as the MLA for the first time. I need lot of time to work in my constituency. So I will not accept the post of parliamentary secretary as of now. Let the party give it others who need it", she appealed the party.

Tehran/Doha: Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian has warned that attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure could lead to “uncontrollable consequences” affecting the entire world.
In a post on X, Pezeshkian said he “strongly condemns” the strikes that targeted the South Pars gasfield earlier in the day.
“Such aggressive actions will not achieve anything for the American Zionist enemy and their supporters. Rather, they will complicate the situation and could lead to uncontrollable consequences that will affect the entire world,” he said.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has urged residents to remain indoors due to what it described as an elevated security threat.
Authorities have not provided further details, but the advisory comes amid growing concerns over the safety of energy infrastructure and civilian areas in the region.
