Bengaluru, September 21: “No Congress MLA has gone to Mumbai. Congress-JDS coalition government was safe. Our MLAs would not join hands with the communalists by yielding to any kinds of temptations”, said former chief minister Siddaramaiah.

In a tweet, he said that the BJP leaders have been luring the Congress MLAs that they would credit hundred times more money than what Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said of crediting the amount to the accounts of each individual to the accounts of the MLAs. But the Congress MLAs said that they would not yield to any kinds of temptations of the BJP, he said condemning the statement of the BJP leaders that 18 MLAs from Congress and JDS would be taken to Mumbai to topple the government.

The BJP leaders who speak about ideologies have stooped to low level of politics. Those who were defeated in the election should work in the opposition place. Apart from that, they should not indulge in unethical work of destabilizing the government. People of the state have been observing the activities of the BJP leaders and they would definitely teach them a lesson in the Lok Sabha election, he tweeted.
