Mysuru: Krishnaraja legislator S A Ramadas reportedly wept and begged before the media to be ‘left alone’ in the controversy regarding the design of the bus stand under construction beside JSS College on Mysuru-Nanjangud Road in Mysuru city.
Addressing the reporters on Thursday, the MLA said, “Punish me if I have erred in the matter of the bus stand. I will pay for any monetary loss from my salary.”
He also is learned to have said, “I have requested that a panel be formed to investigate the matter. I assure you that I will go by the words of the panel.”
Ramadas pointed out, “As many as 10 people have left the party in the last 30 years, unable to bear torture. I am still a member of the party and request to be left alone,” crying before the media, said sources.
“I am concerned only about development and do not wish to indulge in any sort of controversy. I request your cooperation in this aspect,” he asked of the media.
