Chikkamagaluru: Passengers on a private bus traveling from Bengaluru to Sringeri had a narrow escape when the vehicle's rear tyre detached unexpectedly at the Rotary Circle in Balehonnur, Chikkamagaluru district.

The incident occurred recently as the bus was en route to Sringeri. The sudden detachment of the rear tyre could have resulted in a severe accident, but fortunately, all passengers emerged unscathed.

The mishap was captured by a CCTV camera installed near the Rotary Circle. The footage shows the moment the tyre came off and the bus came to an abrupt halt, sparing the passengers from what could have been a disastrous situation.

Mangaluru: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Family Business Network India is set to organise a session on “Managing Family Conflict: Navigating Differences and Disagreements” on April 11, 2026.
