Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government on Saturday issued an order increasing the prices of petrol and diesel in the state. The prices of petrol has been hiked by 3.02 per litre while the price of diesel has been hiked by 3 rupees per litre.
Prior to the hike, petrol was priced at 99.83 in the state which is now hiked to 102.85 rupees per litre. Similarly, diesel which was priced at 85.9 rupees will now cost 88.93 rupees per litre.
The development comes weeks after the Centre had reduced the prices of fuel in the run up to the general elections 2024.
