Bengaluru, August 15: A physically disabled actor-cum-director died in a road accident at Veerananjipura near Nelamangala on Wednesday.

The victim is identified as Hemanth Kumar. He died when his motorbike rammed to a road divider on Tumkur-Bengaluru national highway-4. He had acted in reality shows and was directing his own documentaries. He was appreciated by Arjun Janya and Duniya Viji and other actors.

Though he did not have his two hands, he was riding bike with the help of his legs and done many achievements. Nelamangala traffic police registered a case.

DCM DK Shivakumar celebrated digitally by taking a selfie with the ‘Kannada Filter’ on Instagram, encouraging others to join in. He nominated Speaker U.T. Khader to continue this digital campaign, marking it as a small step to spread Kannada’s glory worldwide. “May the lamp of Kannada shine forever, lighting the way for everyone,” he added.
