Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge has responded to BJP leader B.L. Santosh's claims about Congress leaders being in contact with him. Kharge issued a challenge, giving Santosh one month to attempt to topple the government and prove his allegations.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Kharge challenged Santosh, stating that he was not giving just one day but an entire month for him to demonstrate whether it's possible to destabilize or shake their government.
Kharge further challenged the BJP to select and present the Leader of the Legislature Party and the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly within a week. He questioned whether the BJP had the courage and strength to accept this challenge.
Critiquing the BJP's delay in appointing leaders, Kharge pointed out that 100 days had passed since their government was formed, during which they have initiated numerous people-centric projects and decisions. In contrast, the BJP has not been able to fill three vacant leadership positions, including Leader of the Opposition, State President, and Leader of the Legislative Council. He questioned whether the BJP's inability to appoint leaders indicated political bankruptcy, particularly considering their earlier criticism of the government's five guarantee programs.
