Jhansi: In an unusual turn of events, Bahadur Singh Parihar, president of a truckers' union in Jhansi, was slapped with a fine of Rs 1,000 for not wearing a helmet while driving his Audi car. While the photo in the challan is of a two-wheeler, the category of vehicle is clearly mentioned as a 'motor car’.

In Spite of the strange situation, Parihar decided to take a proactive approach. Rather than contesting the fine immediately, he opted to comply with the regulation by wearing a helmet while driving. This decision, though unconventional for a car driver, has garnered attention and turned heads on the roads of Jhansi.

Expressing his stance, Parihar stated, "If I have to drive a car wearing a helmet... what can I do? I will have to wear a helmet while driving." Despite his willingness to cooperate, the resolution of the issue awaits the completion of the ongoing Lok Sabha election in Uttar Pradesh, after which traffic authorities have promised to address the matter.
