Belagavi: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has said that additional grants of Rs. 500 crore has been granted for the minority welfare programmes in this year's budget.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Minority Rights Day program in the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha auditorium on Tuesday.

All those programmes have been continued in the coalition government as well. In this year's budget, Rs. 500 crore more funds have been granted compared to the previous budget," he added.
Ministers Dr. G. Parameshwar, Zamir Ahmed Khan, KJ George, UT Khader, legislators Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Rahim Khan, Khanisa Fathima, CM Ibrahim, Abdul Jabbar, Ivan D'Souza and others were present.
