Bengaluru: For clothing and other essential materials, the state government has decided to pay the additional compensation of Rs. 50,000 to Kodagu flood victims from the chief minister’s relief fund; assured revenue and skill development minister RV Deshpande.
The minister, who gave this statement on Saturday, said "As per the SDRF / NDRF guidelines, Rs. 1800 for clothing and Rs. 2000 for essential materials (total Rs. 3,000), can be paid to those whose homes have damaged in natural disasters.
