Bengaluru, September 5: Human rights activist Swami Agnivesh said that “if the people who are raising their voice in favour of the oppressed classes are branded as ‘urban naxals’, then we are ready to become naxals”.
He was speaking at the Raj Bhavan Chalo programme organized by the Gauri Lankesh Balaga in front of the Gandhi statue at Mourya Circle here on Wednesday to the first anniversary of the murder of Gauri Lankesh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a pracharak of Sangha Pariwar. When he was the chief minister of Gujarat, he had made Gujarat as a laboratory for such criminal activities. Later, he entertained the Sangh Parivar members in all sectors and saffronized the entire system. Even now, the pracharaks of Sangh Parivar were in higher positions, he said.
“RSS is not alone. It is a multi-faced demon and working in different names. The people who claim themselves as Hindus, are blind to consider Gauri Lankesh, Kalaburagi, Govind Pansare and Dabholkar as Hindus”, he said.
Sanatan Sanstha was not just a Dharma pracharak organization. It was a terrorist organization. The investigating agencies should keep a vigil on them. The government should ban such organizations immediately and punish the sponsors of the murders, Swami Agnivesh said.
