Sagara: 65-year-old typist allegedly commits suicide by drowning in Keladi village lake
Sagara: A 65-year-old typist allegedly committed suicide by drowning in a lake in Keladi village of the taluk on Sunday night.
The deceased typist is identified as Nithyananda, who had worked near the District and Session Court in Sagara.
The typist’s death note states that he was unable to continue working as he had become completely incapable of hearing. Nithyananda added that he was, therefore, committing suicide.
The fire brigade staff members got his body out of the lake waters in Keladi on Monday morning.
Sagara Rural Police have filed a case in the background of the typist’s suicide. They also visited the site for investigation.

Mangaluru: Three injured after tree falls on house, extensive damage reported
Mangaluru: Three persons, including the owner of a house, were injured when a tree fell on their house near BGS High School near Kavoor on the outskirts of the city today.
The owner of the house Sadananda, his wife Ratna and their daughter were injured. It is learned that a lot of damage has been done to the house.

In the meantime, MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty, MCC member Sumangala Rao and others visited and inspected the spot.
