Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Education Minister, Suresh Kumar has clarified that the state is not in a hurry to reopen schools and colleges in the state and no hasty decisions will be taken in this regard.
“The Central Government has instructed all States to undertake the decision about reopening schools at our discretion. We will not be making any hasty decisions in this context,” he said.
“I have been consulting parents and education experts daily in this regard. Protecting children is the government's priority. Therefore, parents need not worry. We will not be reopening schools in haste”, Minister Suresh Kumar said.
