Shivamogga: Azaan call by youth during protest outside DC’s office, FIR filed
Shivamogga: An FIR has been filed against a youngster who called the Azaan while protesting outside the deputy commissioner’s office recently.
A video of the youngster calling the Azaan is going viral on social media, said Shivamogga Superintendent of Police Mithun Kumar.
Muslim organizations were staging a protest outside the DC’s office on March 17, opposing former minister K S Eshwarappa’s recent statement on the Azaan while speaking in Dakshina Kannada, when the youth called the Azaan.
“We have spoken to the youngster regarding the incident and warned him against repeating his actions. A case has also been filed in this regard,” said the superintendent.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
