Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Uttara Kannada MP Anant Kumar Hegde, on Sunday, jumped into support of former Karnataka CM SM Krishna, on twitter, after a user said that his allegations on Congress deserved condemnation.
The user was replying to an earlier tweet of Hegde, which was posted on Feb 10, wherein he lauded the honesty of SM Krishna expressing his experiences with the ‘Congenital Liar’, referring to the Krishna statement, where he blamed INC President, Rahul Gandhi’s interference in the state party’s affairs as the main reason for his exit from the party.
Hegde had tweeted:
Beloved Sri #SMKrishna has honestly expressed his experiences with the #CongenitalLiar and appreciate his guts to quit the dynast's party. He has honestly called for the other right thinking minds to come out of their slavery and support @BJP4India. #SouthIndiaForNamo https://t.co/4QdBn9YtYG

Replying to the tweet, a user added that Krishna’s comment deserved condemnation, as he had enjoyed all the constitutional posts when the party was in power and has now made allegations against the same party.
The user tweeted:
Mr. Hegdeji, Honesty counts when SMK had expressed his ire when in power. Having enjoyed all the Constitutional posts & authority in a party for the whole life & vice versa allegations on it definitely deserves condemnation. I am surprised you tweeting on him. https://t.co/CrZ3YO9Jwi

Hegde once again, replied to the tweet of the user, and added that at the fag end of his political career, Krishna had shown guts against the ‘mighty evil’ while there are still aged slaves in the party who are serving the ‘dynast’ having lost all their self esteem.
Can understand your concern. But please understand that at the fag end of his political career, he had shown the guts to stand against the mighty evil & quit the party. There are still aged slaves in the party who have lost all their self-esteem & still serving the dynast. https://t.co/bT3b1sEOli

Mumbai (PTI): The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League will be held between the March 26 to May 31 window but it remains to be seen if Bengaluru, the home of RCB, holds the opening match.
As per the norms, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium should host the tournament opener given the home side, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the IPL 2025 title.
While the venue has received conditional clearance from the Karnataka state government, it also needs to meet the necessary safety and security standards following the death of 11 fans in a stampede during RCB's victory celebrations in June this year.
The mini-auction for IPL 2026 will be held in Abu Dhabi today with three-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders coming in with the biggest purse.
