Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has warned that if BJP attempts to create disturbance in the society for their political development, strict action will be taken without any hindrance.

Addressing a joint press conference after the first Cabinet meeting with his ministers on Wednesday, he said some persons have been arrested in Dakshina Kannada district in connection with the murder of a person in the name of cow protection. "We suspended an inspector," he said.

“The information will be acquired about any event taking place at any corner of the state. Our government is committed to protecting everyone in the state. Stringent action will be taken if anybody tries to destroy peace in the society,” Kumaraswamy warned.

“The previous government’s all the popular schemes of the Bhagya series, including Anna Bhagya, will continue. New schemes promised in the manifestos of both the parties will be taken, and common minimum programs will be adopted and implemented” the CM added.
