Sullia: Man chases BJP leader's car, catches him red-handed having affair with his wife
Sullia: A local BJP leader was on Wednesday caught red-handed while he was traveling with a married woman. The husband of the woman caught him traveling with his wife and has filed a police complaint in this regard adding the BJP leader attempted to kill him.
The incident took place in Jalsur in Sullia Taluk. The husband of the woman has alleged that the BJP leader Hariprasad Yadav was having an affair with his wife.
The man chased Yadav on his bike while Yadav was traveling with his wife. Yadav, according to the man's police complaint, escaped the scene leaving the woman behind in the car.
Yadav is a resident of Muliyala Mugeru in Kepu village of Bantwal. He is the president of the Punacha BJP Mahashakti Kendra and the vice-president of the Puttur BJP Grameena Mandala.
In his complaint the husband has further stated that his wife hd been to Odiyur to attend a local festival on Tuesday when Yadav picked her up in his car. He added that he was tipped off about it prompting him to chase Yadav and stop his car.
The complainant further said Yadav tried to kill him before escaping from the spot when he noticed locals gathering around.

Two wheels of suburban train jump tracks at Dum Dum station in Kolkata: Official
Kolkata (PTI): A suburban train derailed while entering Dum Dum railway station here on Wednesday, an Eastern Railway official said.
Two wheels of the rear coach of Bongaon-Sealdah EMU train jumped the tracks at 12.11 pm while entering platform 4, he said.
No one was injured in the accident, he said.
The coach was put back on the tracks at 1.38 pm, the official added.
