Bengaluru: HL Nandeesha, the police inspector of KR Puram who was suspended on charges of dereliction of duty has died after suffering heart attack on Thursday here in the city.
Nandeesha, after complaining of chest pain on Thursday morning was hospitalized by his family members. He later passed away at the hospital, reports claimed.
Nandeesha was suspended after CCB Police raided a restaurant and bar in KR Puram for remaining open late at night. The CCB police had registered a case against the owner and staff of the restaurant.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner, Pratap Reddy then suspended Nandeesha on charges of dereliction of duty and failing to take action against the restaurant that was under his jurisdiction.
Following his suspension, Nandeesha reportedly was spending most of his time at home.

Bengaluru: Six Naxalites who were actively involved in Maoist activities across the Western Ghats for several years surrendered on Wednesday at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s home office, Krishna.
The event took place in the presence of members from the Naxal Surrender and Rehabilitation Committee and the Citizens' Forum for Peace
The surrendered individuals have been identified as Mundagaru Latha from Chikkamagaluru district, Vanajakshi from Balehole, Sundari Kuthlur from Dakshina Kannada district, Marappa Aroli from Raichur, K. Vasanth from Tamil Nadu, and T.N. Jeesha from Kerala.
