Tarikere Youth who has been to Mansarovar Yatra is missing?
Chikamagalur, July 03: A youth of Tarikere who has been to Kailash Mansarovar Yatre is reportedly missing for the last two days.
Darshan of Bukkambudi in Tarikere taluk is missing for the last days. He is working as a priest of a temple. He has gone for North India tour from Bengaluru on June 21. On Sunday night, he called his brother Prashanth over phone. He informed his brother that he would visit the Mansarovar after completing Srinagar, Ladak and Kailash parvat trip, it is said.
But from Monday, he was not available for contact and family members are panicked. It is said that there was a landslide on the way to Mansarovar due to heavy rains. More than thousand pilgrims including Indians trapped in the landslide.

Gunmen attack building housing Israeli Consulate in Istanbul
Istanbul (AP): A gunfight erupted outside a building housing the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, leaving two assailants dead and a police officer wounded, Turkiye's Haberturk broadcaster reported.
The report said attackers were carrying long-barreled weapons. An exchange of fire with police killed two, while a third assailant was captured. One officer sustained injuries during the clash.
The area surrounding the building was quickly sealed off.
