Temple to be a cultural center in New Jersey: Chief Minister appreciates
Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy participated in various rituals in connection with the Bhoomi Pooja of Sri Kalabhairaveshwara Swamy Temple, which is being built by Adichunchanagiri Mahasansthan on 20 acres of land in Somerset in New Jersey.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chief Minister said, " The temple which is being built by the Adichunchanagiri Mahasansthan in New Jersey, USA, will become a major cultural center for Indians, especially for Kannadigas.
Minor Irrigation Minister CS Puttaraju, Tourism Minister SaRa Mahesh, MLC S.L. Bhojegowda and others were present.
The foundation stone-laying ceremony of the temple will be held on June 30.

Bailahongala MLA Mahantesh Kaujalagi involved in car accident near Vidhana Soudha
Bengaluru: In a recent incident near the Vidhana Soudha, Bailahongala MLA Mahantesh Kaujalagi was involved in a car accident. The mishap occurred as the MLA was departing from the MLA's House and was struck by a polo vehicle while exiting the Vidhana Soudha premises.
Fortunately, the MLA sustained only minor injuries in the collision. Following the accident, Kaujalagi was immediately transported to the hospital in another vehicle for medical attention.
The incident happened within the jurisdiction of the Cubbon Park Traffic Police Station.
