The three-day multilingual calligraphy exhibition was inaugurated on Friday here at Falcon's Den at Prestige Falcon Towers on Brunton Road in Bengaluru.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Irfan Razack, the Chairman and Managing Director of Prestige Group, Bangalore.

Several calligraphy artists and experts were present during the inauguration and explained their work that was displayed at the exhibition.

The event sponsored by Bearys Group is being organised by Institute of Indo Islamic Art and Culture (IIIAC) and will continue till March 12.

Syed Beary, Chairman of the IIIAC chaired the inaugural event.

Several talks, discussions and seminars will also be held as a part of three-day program. The seminar will be inaugurated later in the evening on Friday.

Experts and artists from more than 10 countries including Turkey, Japan, Sudan, and Middle-East will take part in the event. Calligraphy experts in Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi and other regional languages will also be a part of the event.

Shabeena Sultana, Consul of the Republic of Tunisia, Bangalore and Pusphamala N, Artist, Sculptor, Writer and Curator, Institute of Indo Islamic Art and Culture's Principal Muqtar Ahmed, were present during the inaugural event.

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.

According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.

Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
