Three of a family drown while working in lake waters in Ramanagar district
Ramanagar: In a tragic incident near Muttasagar of Magadi taluk of the district, three members of a family drowned in lake waters while bathing their sheep in the lake.
The deceased have been identified as Nagaraju (30), Jyothi (35) and Lakshmi (22).
The local fire brigade squad members, who arrived on the banks of the lake on being informed of the incident, have gotten the bodies of two people out of the waters. They are searching for the third body.
A case has been filed at the Kudoor Police Station and investigation is going on.

Four students from Faizul Islam Madrasa reported missing in Shirva
Udupi: Four students studying at the Faizul Islam Madrasa in Shirva have been reported missing since May 14. Identified as Tabarak, Jamsheed, Tanzeer Alam, and Shahil, two of them are minors hailing from Bihar.
The disappearance was noticed in the afternoon, resulting in concerns among the locals. It is suspected that the missing students might have returned back to their hometown.
Farvez Salim of Faizul Islam Education Trust has filed a complaint at Shirva Police Station and an investigation is underway.
