Tractor-tanker collision: 4 killed
Koppal: four people killed on the spot in a tractor-diesel tanker accident near Talkal village of Yelburga taluk on Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Channappa Eerappa Hadapada (35), Eeramma Hadapada (55), Maulabi (50) and Mohammed Rajasab Kavaluru (20); all belonging to Bannikoppa village.
A case has been registered in Kuknuru police station.

Man arrested for theft of four cattle in Bantwal taluk
Bantwal: Police in Bantwal Taluk have arrested a man in connection with the theft of four cattle reported from Peruvai village, officials said on Friday.
According to a report published by Deccan Herald, the incident occurred on November 18, within the limits of Vitla police station. The cattle, belonging to Ganesh Rai and Narayana Naik, were allegedly stolen from the society premises in Peruvai village after they were taken out for grazing.
Following a complaint filed by Ganesh Rai, Vitla police registered a case and launched an investigation. Based on the probe, police arrested the accused, identified as Zulfhan Malik (30), a resident of Kodi in Ullal village, on Thursday.
The accused was produced before the jurisdictional court and remanded to police custody. Further investigation is underway, police said.
