Two held for throwing water bottle at singer Kailash Kher during concert in Karnataka
Hospet: Police have arrested two men who threw a bottle at singer Kailash Kher during the valedictory function of the ‘Hampi Utsav’ here.
Kher was performing at the Hampi Gayathri Peetha at around 1:30 am on Monday, when a member of the audience threw a bottle of water at him. The bottle landed on the dais a little away from Kher.
The police, who got into action immediately, identified from among the audience the two men who had thrown the bottle. They also took both the men into custody.
Kher’s programme continued at the venue till around 2 am.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
