Two-wheelers collide in Gubbi; both riders killed
Tumakuru: Two riders died as their two-wheelers collided near the Sri Talumarada Thimmakka Park on Chelur-Bidare Road in Gubbi on Thursday night.
The deceased riders have been identified as Abhishek and 45-year-old Cheluvaraj of Ragimuddanahalli.
Cheluvaraj, who was grievously injured, in the head-on collision near the park at around 8:30 pm on Thursday, was admitted to the Gubbi government hospital, but did not survive, said the police.
Abhishek died on the way to a hospital in Bengaluru, the officers added.
A case in this regard has been filed by the Gubbi Police officers, who are investigating.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
