Two women lose lives as Tractor falls into canal
Yadagiri, Aug.11: A tractor carrying labours fell into a canal after losing control resulting in the death of two women. The incident took place on Saturday, Aug. 11 in Badihala village in Yadagiri taluk.
The deceased women has been identified as Lalithamma and Bhagyalakshmi. They were travelling in a tractor to work as coolie workers in land. The driver of the tractor lost control over the vehicle and as a result the tractor toppled and fell into the canal. The ladies who were sitting in the trolley died on the spot. Four others injured in the incident. They were admitted to nearby hospital.
Saidapura police visited the spot and inspected. A case has been filed in this regard and tractor driver has been taken into custody.
