Bengaluru (PTI): Bengaluru Traffic Police on Monday launched a probe after a video surfaced online showing three youngsters triple-riding on a two-wheeler and driving "recklessly" on the city's streets, officials said.

The incident, which occurred in BTM Layout here, has sparked outrage on social media, with the video going viral over concerns about public safety.

Taking note of the video, police said strict action will be taken against such irresponsible driving and violations of traffic rules.

The vehicle, bearing a Karnataka registration number, is under police scrutiny.

Police said they are verifying the details of the incident and working to identify those involved.

"Strict action will be taken against the violators, and a case will be registered," a senior police officer said.
