Mysuru, May 9: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that in order to cover-up the fact that IT raids on the houses and offices of Congress leaders were politically motivated, the BJP has planned IT raids on the houses and offices of BJP leaders.

Responding to media here on Wednesday, Siddaramaiah said that IT raid was conducted on the house of Sriramulu’s follower to create an assumption that it was not politically motivated. It was purposefully done. It was a drama of BJP to come out of the allegation. “I have seen twelve elections. IT raids were not carried out during election time. Interestingly, more IT raids were conducted on the rooms where Congress leaders stayed”, he said.

On voter IDs found in an apartment, he said that he does not know anything about it. Let the Election officer investigate about this incident.  One should not take the words of Ananth Kumar so seriously. There is no meaning in demanding postponement of election for this reason, he said.
