Mysuru: Some media channels have shown that I have taken a U-turn in farm loan policies. I did not make any U-turn. There is no change in my position in giving farm loan waiver, CM-designate HD Kumaraswamy clarified.

Speaking at Chamundeshwari, Mr. Kumaraswamy said that the BJP has no other job. Their only job is to misguide people.

"I will fulfill my assurances. But ours is not an independent government, and it is a coalition government. After discussing with the Congress leaders, we would fulfill the promises made in the manifestos of both the parties. I will respond to the pain of farmers irrespective of state's financial condition and economists' suggestions. The coalition government must resolve the farmers' woes," he stated.

Replying to a query on Siddaramaiah's role in the coalition- government, HDK said "Siddaramaiah will play a key role in the government, and two days it will be revealed. Farmers or anyone in the state, who are in any difficulty, can meet me directly in the Vidhanasoudha. My office will be opened from 6 am onwards," Mr. Kumaraswamy said.
