Mysuru: Mysore Member of Parliament, Pratap Singh, faced opposition from the residents of Kupya village in Mysuru while campaigning for BJP candidate V. Somanna in the Varuna constituency. The incident comes after both Singh and Somanna were previously heckled by the residents of Lalidrapura during their campaign.
On Thursday, Singh and Somanna arrived at Puchara in Kupya village to seek votes but were met with questions from the villagers. However, they remained silent and did not provide any answers, as can be seen in a video that has been circulating on social media.
In the video, the villagers can be seen asking Simha if he wants to change the Constitution written by BR Ambedkar. They also slammed him for questioning the contribution of Siddaramaiah to Mysuru and added that Simha would know his contribution if he sits beside him.
