Woman held by Kolar police for kidnap of newborn from district hospital; Infant found on TN border
Kolar: The Kolar Women Police Station officers on Friday arrested Swathi, one of the suspects in the kidnapping a newborn from the Kolar District Hospital, and are searching for two other suspects, who are learned to be absconding.
A four-day-old infant of Nandini and Poovarasan, a couple from Patel Road in Malur town, was kidnapped from the district hospital on Thursday and a case had been registered at the Kolar Women Police Station against three suspects.
The police investigation team, which focused on the border areas of Kolar district, found the infant at Berike in Tamil Nadu and returned it to the parents.

Netanyahu recommends his Cabinet approve Hezbollah cease-fire proposal
Beirut, Nov 26: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced he will recommend a proposal for a cease-fire with Hezbollah to his Cabinet for approval, setting the stage for an end to nearly 14 months of fighting.
Netanyahu said the vote was expected later Tuesday. It was not immediately clear when the ceasefire would go into effect, and the exact terms of the deal were not released. The deal does not affect Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, which shows no signs of ending.
