Mysuru: Housing and Mysuru district in-charge Minister V. Somanna said that the video of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's speech about rebel MLAs has gone viral and that has hurt him.

Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, he said, "Yediyurappa has said nothing objectionable. The video should not have gone viral. Yediyurappa became chief minister with the help of disqualified MLAs and he did not say that they would join the BJP. Recording this statement and making viral has pained me. The High Command has considered this issue seriously. This is not good in a disciplined party," Somanna expressed his displeasure.

Bengaluru: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have qualified for the playoffs of IPL 2024 after defeating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 27 runs in a thrilling match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.

RCB, captained by South African cricketer Faf du Plessis, emerged victorious in this crucial match to secure their spot in the playoffs. However, the lost match is tragically significant to Chennai Super Kings' key player M S Dhoni, for whom it is believed to be the last IPL season.
