Bengaluru: Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Friday urged the people of Karnataka not to "repeat the mistake of 2018 polls", and to provide an absolute majority to the BJP in the May 10 Assembly elections.

In a recent interview with India Today's Rajdeep Sardesai, senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar expressed his confidence in the party's victory in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections. Shivakumar predicted that the Congress would win at least 141 seats in the state, which has a total of 224 seats.
