Bengaluru/Kasaragod: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday wrote to his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan requesting him to stop changing names of places in Kasaragod district of Kerala bordering the state from Kannada to Malayalam even as Kerala government denied such a move.

Karnataka: SSLC exams to be held on July 19, 22

This year the SSLC Examination will be conducted on July 19 and July 22, Education Minister Suresh Kumar informed. The Minister said that the examination of the Core subjects will be held on July 19, while the language subjects will be conducted on July 22.

Bengaluru: After over four months, COVID-19 related fatalities in Karnataka dipped below the hundred mark with 89 being reported on Sunday while 3,604 fresh cases took the overall tally to 28,34,630, the Health department said.
