Police arrested seven persons on charges of assaulting a person after stopping his vehicle carrying cattle after setting ablaze tyres and misbehaving with the police, here on Sunday.

After returning from a 12-day foreign tour on Sunday night, the house of former chief minister and Coalition government Coordination Committee president Siddaramaiah has turned as the centre of political activities.
