Disappointed by the interference of Minister DK Shivakumar favouring MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar in the Belagavi district politics, Municipal Administration Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi is said to have complained against DK Shivakumar and Hebbalkar to KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao and Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar.

A youth died on the spot when lightning struck him at the Udusalamma temple near Dwaralu on national highway 48 on Tuesday evening.
