Gangavathi Police officials have filed a case against Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha founder Janardhan Reddy for campaigning near a polling booth in Gangavathi constituency on Wednesday.

Karnataka recorded a voter turnout of 72.67 per cent in the Assembly elections, which is slightly above the previous polls in 2018.
