Srirangapatna: A pair of 18-month-old twins in Bettahalli of the taluk died and their mother fell ill after consuming ice cream purchased from a mobile store that visited their locality on Wednesday evening.

In a recent development, journalist Swathi Chandrashekar, alongside two-time MP Sanganna Karadi and three-time MLA from Belagavi Rural Shivaputra Malagi, officially joined the Congress party on Wednesday.
